Jamshedpur<\/strong> (Jharkhand) [India], July 22: XLRI \u2013 Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur,<\/em><\/strong> successfully hosted the fifth edition of its flagship digital transformation conclave, ReEnvision 5.0,<\/em><\/strong> under the theme \u201cHuman-AI Synergy.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> The conclave brought together over 150 participants,<\/em><\/strong> including more than 12 industry leaders<\/em><\/strong> from leading organisations such as Google, Kimberly-Clark, Barclays India Pvt. Ltd., IIFL Capital Services, Blackboard, and Safexpress,<\/em><\/strong> among others, to deliberate on the evolving relationship between humans and artificial intelligence and its implications for the future of business and leadership.<\/p>\n

The conclave was inaugurated by Dr. (Fr.) George Sebastian, SJ,<\/em><\/strong> alongside Prof. A. Kanagaraj<\/em><\/strong> and other distinguished guests, who underscored the importance of responsible innovation, ethical AI adoption,<\/em><\/strong> and stronger collaboration between academia and industry. The inaugural address highlighted that while AI is rapidly transforming organisations, sustainable success will depend on creating a future where technology amplifies human capabilities rather than replacing them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The first panel discussion, \u201cCo-pilot to Autopilot \u2013 The Rise of Agentic AI,\u201d<\/em><\/strong> was moderated by Hardik Dhawan<\/em><\/strong> and featured Bhargavi Sunkara<\/em><\/strong> (Chief Information Officer, Barclays India Private Limited), Hardik Sanghavi<\/em><\/strong> (CTO \u2013 Institutional Banking, IIFL Capital Services Limited), Jins Varghese<\/em><\/strong> (Global Chief Information Officer, Blackboard), Sandeep Dewangan<\/em><\/strong> (President and Group CIO, Safexpress Private Limited), and Shanoj Chandroth<\/em><\/strong> (Group Chief Digital and Information Officer, Jubilant Bhartia Group). The discussion explored how enterprises are transitioning from AI as a productivity assistant to autonomous, agentic systems, while emphasising that human judgment, continuous learning, and workflow redesign<\/em><\/strong> remain critical to unlocking business value.<\/p>\n

The second panel discussion, \u201cLeadership in the Age of AI Disruption,\u201d<\/em><\/strong> moderated by Nimish Batra,<\/em><\/strong> featured Anil Nama<\/em><\/strong> (Chief Information Officer, CtrlS Datacenters Ltd.), Ishita De<\/em><\/strong> (General Manager and Chief Information Security Officer, Diageo India Private Limited), Nisarg Jha<\/em><\/strong> (Leader for Innovation and GenAI, Kimberly-Clark), and Vipin Chawla<\/em><\/strong> (Director of Technology & CTO, Antara Senior Care). The discussion examined how leaders must balance technological innovation with governance, cybersecurity, organisational resilience,<\/em><\/strong> and a people-first approach<\/em><\/strong> while fostering cultures of continuous learning and responsible AI adoption.<\/p>\n

The panel explored trust, accountability, algorithmic bias, transparency,<\/em><\/strong> and governance, reinforcing that confidence in AI is built through responsible leadership and robust safeguards rather than technology alone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

AI Case Challenge<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A key highlight of ReEnvision 5.0<\/em><\/strong> was the AI Case Challenge,<\/em><\/strong> where three student teams<\/em><\/strong> presented innovative solutions to real-world business problems before an esteemed panel of industry leaders. The challenge showcased participants\u2019 strategic thinking, analytical capabilities,<\/em><\/strong> and practical problem-solving skills while offering valuable industry perspectives through interactive discussions and feedback.<\/p>\n

The conclave was coordinated by the student organising committee<\/em><\/strong> comprising Abirami S, Utkrisht Suri, Stuti Patwardhan, Morris S,<\/em><\/strong> and Muskan Gupta.<\/em><\/strong> The three panel discussions were seamlessly moderated by Hardik Dhawan, Nimish Batra,<\/em><\/strong> and Harishwar S,<\/em><\/strong> while Devika<\/em><\/strong> and Shaima<\/em><\/strong> served as hosts.<\/p>\n
